When you copy text from PDFs or emails, hard line breaks appear mid-paragraph. This tool removes them while preserving intentional paragraph breaks (double newlines). Options include collapsing multiple spaces and re-joining hyphenated words.

Frequently asked questions

How does it know which breaks to keep?

Single newlines within a paragraph are removed. Double newlines (blank line between paragraphs) are kept.

What is fix hyphenation?

Rejoins words split across lines with a hyphen (e.g. "infor-\nmation" → "information").

Can I also strip HTML tags?

Yes. Enable "strip tags" to remove all HTML/XML tags from the output.
